Alazani Valley Microzone

Saperavi Grapes

Soil: alluvial yellow clay
Harvest: early October

Saperavi from the Alazani Valley is characterized by high sugar concentration and moderate acidity. These qualities allow the production of elegant dry red wines with a soft structure and a clean varietal profile.

Rkatsiteli Grapes

Soil: limestone and clay, high alkalinity
Harvest: second half of September

Rkatsiteli from this area forms the basis for high‑quality dry white wines in a European style. The wines are distinguished by a harmonious balance of sugar and acidity, purity of taste, and freshness.

Kindzmarauli Microzone

Saperavi Grapes

Soil: clay and limestone mix, high alkalinity
Harvest: late September — early October

The Kindzmarauli microzone is known for its unique microclimate. Saperavi here reaches high sugar levels with low acidity, making it ideal for producing natural semi‑sweet red wines with a soft and elegant character.

Mukuzani Microzone

Soil: gravel and red clay, moderate alkalinity
Harvest: second half of September

Mukuzani is one of the most prestigious microzones of Kakheti. Saperavi from this area produces rich, full‑bodied dry red wines with intense aroma and pronounced terroir characteristics.

 

Tsinandali Microzone

Tsinandali is a historic microzone specializing in European‑style white wines. Rkatsiteli here has high sugar concentration and balanced acidity, forming a clean, structured, and elegant wine profile.
